Mr. Hossam Badr serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Derayah financial where he is overseeing and leads the development of information technology and business operations teams. In his current capacity, he works on improving the business processes and creating opportunities through the continuous review of operations. Also he is responsible of prioritizing and implementing strategic projects.Hossam’s responsibilities include the development of Derayah’s systems to keep pace with the latest technological developments in order to be among the best and most secure organizations in the region. His responsibilities span across several areas in Derayah including the continuous improvement of the Brokerage and investment operations. He ensures that the best practices and standards are implemented while applying the necessary controls in the daily operations in accordance with industry regulations and internal policies of Derayah.Badr has 20 years of executive experience in multinational companies and solid knowledge in international IT markets. He has a proven track record of leadership and turn around on enterprise level that has resulted in significant growth in revenue, cost improvement, and organizational development and leadership strategy. His skills and experience in businesses development and team management enables the company to reach the desired goals.Badr holds a BSc degree in Computer and Automatic Control from Ain Shams University and received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo and has received numerous internal and external certifications and courses.
